A short distance away from the bustle of Mukteshwar, tucked away deep in the forest, lies Gopi's Mudhouse located at Chatola close to Sheetla, a 500 metres easy walk from the parking. This quiet 2-room property set amidst an orchard of plum, peach, apricot, almond and wild bayberry (locally known as kafal) is ideal for small families, solo travelers, writers, thinkers, or hikers.

The Kurmanchal Village
A kumaoni home dating back to 60's converted into a villagestay, nestled between the pine forest and a hamlet called Poonakot. Located about 15 kms from Almora town on the Pithoragarh/Jageshwar road the house offers a panoramic view of the mountains and the kumaoni village. The house has a couple of streams, old temples, village and hikes in the vicinity that can be explored during your stay!
